Big Bear Camping
Camping at Big Bear Lake is quite a popular summer pastime. In the San Bernardino National Forest the U.S. Forest Service manages a number of campgrounds. Some of the campgrounds near the lake include Pineknot, Serrano, and Hanna Flat. RV's are welcome at Dogwood. Green Spot Equestrian Camp has five horse corrals and water for horses (but not for people!). There are many more camping areas. For a complete list contact the U.S. Forest Service.
